If the preview day for the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con was any indication, we’re in for one hell of a crowded show. Here’s some shots from the show floor, taken amidst a sea of humanity. If you look closely here, you’ll see the back of McWhertor’s head. At the San Diego Comic-Con, Pikachu chooses you. I believe this giant mech has something to do with James Cameron’s Avatar. I was too busy sweating and cursing to notice. Now THAT’s some LEGO Star Wars right there. It’s Bumblebee, standing watch over the Hasbro area, where I wasn’t allowed to purchase a 25th anniversary Soundwave this evening. Fuckbeans. Another look at the Cameron mech. Bumblebee in car form, tempting me to hop in, drive through the Hasbro booth, and simply take a Soundwave. This line right here? That’s just the professionals and press line. For some reason my badge lists me as a professional. Finally my work ethic is rewarded. More LEGO Clone Trooper Followed by LEGO Buzz Lightyear from LEGO Toy Story, which seems a bit redundant to me.
